Join this unforgettable guided tour to Caminito del Rey, one of Spain’s most spectacular walking trails, nestled in the dramatic landscapes of Málaga province.
The day begins with a comfortable coach transfer from Málaga to Ardales, followed by a guided walk led by expert local guides. After a brief introduction to the area’s fascinating history —from its industrial origins in the 19th century to its reinvention as a sustainable tourism hotspot— you’ll step onto the original walkway. Here, you’ll cross the iconic suspension bridge and soak in panoramic views of the Gaitanes gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise up to 100 metres high. Your guide will share insights into how this once-abandoned engineering marvel became a global ecotourism benchmark.
The tour includes priority entry tickets to Caminito del Rey and mandatory helmet hire for your safety. Meeting points vary by option: either in central Málaga (Avenida M. Agustín Heredia) or at Málaga Train Station (Calle Héroe de Sostoa). The coach journey to the trailhead takes around 45 minutes, leaving ample time to explore this breathtaking landscape.
