Located in the City of Arts and Sciences, the Oceanographic houses species representative of some of the most important marine ecosystems on the planet. Dive into a unique marine universe by going through Europe's longest submarine tunnel, close to a family of beluga whales and watching sharks a few meters away.

The compound is distributed on two levels. In the upper areas you will find outdoor exhibitions, surrounded by a spectacular freshwater lake inhabited by pelicans, cormorans and flamingos. At the lower level are the largest aquariums in Europe, where there are species characteristic of the world's main marine ecosystems.

It travels through the Mediterranean, Antarctica, Arctic or Red Sea, among many other environments, and notes the behavior of more than 45,000 aquatic animals belonging to about 500 different species, such as belugas, walrus, jellyfish, sea lions and sharks. And when you need to pause, enjoy a unique experience at your underwater restaurant.

Before you travel

• You can only enter the park in the time range you've booked.

• The Oceanographic opens every day from 10: 00 to 18: 00 from Sunday to Friday and from 10: 00 to 20: 00 on Saturdays.

• From 15 July to 31 August, the Oceanographic will be extended from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• From 6 to 9 December, the Oceanographic will have an extended schedule from 10: 00 to 20: 00.

• On December 24 and 31, the Oceanographic will open from 10: 00 to 16: 00.

• On December 25, the Oceanographic will open from 12: 00 to 18: 00.
