Comfortable, sturdy footwear such as hiking shoes or boots is recommended, as the tour includes short walks on uneven terrain in the Teide National Park and the village of Masca. Dress in layers: a light jacket or jumper for the cooler temperatures at high altitudes on Teide (which can drop to 10°C even in summer), plus sun protection (hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen). Bring water and wind protection, especially at elevated viewpoints.
