• A tour out of the ordinary about the discovery of America

In detail

Enjoy a full day tour of the province of Huelva following the steps of Cristóbal Colón before taking his first trip in search of a new route to the Indias, an event that would end up changing the history of Europe and the world forever.

During the tour you will visit the Carabelas Pier, where the faithful replicas of the three ships that starred in the historic trip of Colombia are preserved. The complex also includes a complete interpretation centre, a medieval district recreated next to the pier and the Encounter Island, a space that represents the indigenous culture of Guanahaní, the first island to which Columbus arrived on October 12, 1492, to which he baptized as San Salvador.

The tour continues in the Monastery of Santa María de la Rábida, a key place in the history of the discovery, where Cristóbal Colón stayed and completed the preparations for the expedition that would mark the beginning of a new era.
