Question 1

Do I need horse riding experience for this tour?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience is needed. The ride is led by a professional guide who provides a short briefing before mounting. Horses are trained for beginners, and the route is easy, suitable for riders over 12 with normal mobility. Safety helmets and vests are included, ensuring a secure experience.

Question 2

Where does the transport from Valencia start, and how is it arranged?

Accepted Answer

The pickup point is the designated parking area in front of Empalme metro station (València). The guide will wait there 15 minutes before the tour starts. The round-trip transport is included in the price, and the location is reachable by metro (lines 1, 2 or 4) or tram (line 4).

Question 3

How many wineries do we visit, and what wines are included in the tasting?

Accepted Answer

We visit one winery in the Utiel-Requena DO, known for its premium wines. The tasting includes three wines: a young red, a reserva red, and a rosé, showcasing the region’s winemaking tradition. Each wine comes with a guided explanation of its production, pairing suggestions, and tasting notes. The winery is 45 minutes by car from Valencia.

Question 4

Can I cancel if it rains? What’s the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel free of charge if adverse weather (heavy rain or storms) affects horse riding safety. You may reschedule for another date or receive a full refund. The decision is made 24 hours before the tour starts, in consultation with participants. For other issues, the free cancellation policy applies up to 48 hours prior.

Question 5

What clothing and footwear should I wear for the horse ride?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing (e.g., riding pants or leggings) and closed-toe shoes with a non-slip sole (avoid sandals or heels). Helmets and safety vests are provided, but light gloves are helpful if you have sensitive hands. In spring/autumn, bring a light jacket; in summer, a cap and sunscreen. Winery interiors are cool, so a light jacket is useful year-round.
