Question 1

Is parasailing with this operator safe and what certifications do they have?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s completely safe. The operator is certified by the EPPA (European Parasailing Professional Association), Europe’s leading parasailing training body. All equipment (harnesses and life jackets) is regularly inspected and maintained to the highest safety standards. The boat uses a winch for controlled take-offs and landings, and the staff are highly trained to ensure a risk-free experience.

Question 2

How many people can fly together on the same parasail?

Accepted Answer

The parasail can accommodate up to 6 people at once, as long as the total weight does not exceed the equipment’s safety limits. It’s perfect for groups of friends or families looking to share the experience. However, in peak season or on very windy days, there may be restrictions for safety reasons, so it’s best to check availability before booking.

Question 3

What should I bring with me for the parasailing activity in Benalmádena?

Accepted Answer

No special equipment is required, but wear comfortable, non-slip footwear (avoid sandals). Bring a towel, swimsuit, and sun protection, as you’ll be exposed to the sun on the boat and during the flight. A light jacket is advisable in case it gets chilly at altitude. The operator provides all necessary safety gear.

Question 4

What is the cancellation policy if the weather isn’t suitable for flying?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation due to bad weather is free and flexible. If the operator deems the conditions (wind, waves) unsafe, you’ll be notified in advance and can reschedule at no extra cost or receive a full refund. Immediate confirmation includes a 24-hour pre-flight reminder with day-specific conditions.

Question 5

Where exactly do I need to go to start the parasailing tour?

Accepted Answer

The meeting point is the parasailing boat, located near berth number 675 at the Benalmádena ferry departure port. To get there, take a taxi or public transport to the port (a 10-minute drive from Benalmádena town centre). Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to complete check-in and receive safety briefings.
