Enjoy a one-day tour from Madrid to discover two of the oldest and most emblematic cities in Spain: Ávila and Segovia, both declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Accompanied by an expert guide, immerse yourself in its history, architecture and cultural legacy.

The first stop will be in Avila, after approximately an hour of travel from Madrid. It admires its impressive walls of the 11th century, considered the best preserved in the country and which completely surround the historical centre. Visit the interior of the Basilica of San Vicente, one of the highest exponents of the Romanesque architecture in Spain.

The tour continues through the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral of Avila, followed by the visit to the church-convent of Santa Teresa de Jesus, built in the 17th century by the Order of the Carmelites Descalzas in the place where, according to tradition, Santa Teresa de Avila was born.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to relax, have a drink with an appetizer or continue exploring the city on your own. At 14: 00, the group will meet to set a course for Segovia.

Already in Segovia, you will begin the tour with its most representative monument: the Roman Aqueduct, a symbol of the city and one of the best preserved Roman engineering works in the world. You will walk through emblematic places like the Casa de los Picos, the Plaza de Juan Bravo and the Plaza Mayor.

You will arrive at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption and of San Frutos, known as the Lady of the Cathedral, where you can appreciate its grandiosity, elegance and the harmonious combination of late Gothic and Renaissance elements.

The visit culminates in the Alcázar de Segovia, an impressive medieval fortress located on a rocky promontory between two rivers, at the foot of the Sierra de Guadalrama. Its unique silhouette, similar to the bow of a ship, makes it one of the most recognizable castles - palace in Spain.

At the end of the visit, you will return comfortably to Madrid by bus, putting the final brooch to a day full of history and discoveries.
