From Malaga: Caminito del Rey tour with private transport

We are truly blessed with a natural wonder sculpted over millions of years: the fascinating Gaitanes Gorge.

The beginning of this "trail" dates back to the 20th century. What they ingeniously devised is a path that is barely 1 meter wide and stretches for 3 kilometers, rising an incredible 100 meters above the ground!

A few years later, during the inauguration of the Dam by the esteemed King Alfonso XIII, he walked this extraordinary route and gave it the name it proudly bears to this day: "El Caminito del Rey".

Only 1 hour separates Malaga from El Chorro, the village where our adventure begins. The route itself is short and without difficulties, covering 3 kilometers of completely flat terrain. However, the real attraction lies in its extraordinary location, with stretches suspended more than 100 meters above the river.

Be prepared to wander along vertiginous trails, cross the reservoir on imposing bridges and savor breathtaking views from steep lookouts.
