Question 1

Which cities are visited on this 2-day tour?

Accepted Answer

This tour covers Córdoba and Seville, two of Andalusia’s most iconic cities. On Day 1, you’ll explore Córdoba’s breathtaking Mosque-Cathedral, the historic Jewish Quarter (Judería), and the Roman Bridge. Day 2 takes you to Seville for the Cathedral with its famous Giralda, the picturesque Santa Cruz district, and the Real Alcázar. Transfers between Madrid and Seville are by high-speed AVE train, with local guides and air-conditioned transport provided in Seville.

Question 2

What’s included in the meals, and can special dietary needs be accommodated?

Accepted Answer

The included meals are set menus served at local restaurants, featuring a starter, main course, dessert, and a drink (wine or soft drink). Special diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies) must be requested at least 72 hours in advance by emailing info@vpttours.com. Late requests may not be accommodated, though basic vegetarian options are typically available.

Question 3

Is there anything specific I should bring on the tour? Any clothing recommendations?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable, sturdy shoes (e.g., walking shoes or trainers) are essential, as the tour involves extensive walking on cobblestone streets. A light jacket is useful for cooler evenings in spring/autumn, while sun protection (hat, sunscreen) and a reusable water bottle are must-haves in summer. A small daypack for essentials is advisable. Check the weather forecast before departure, as Córdoba and Seville can be very hot in summer.

Question 4

Where and what time should I arrive on the first day of the tour?

Accepted Answer

Meet at the VPT Tours office in Madrid, located at Calle de la Princesa, 43 (near Príncipe Pío station), at 7:30 AM. The tour departs at 8:00 AM sharp by coach to Córdoba. Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and to collect your tickets. The exact address and map will be sent via email after booking confirmation.

Question 5

Can I cancel the tour and get a refund if I can’t attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, cancellations are possible with varying refund policies. Up to 15 days before departure, you’ll receive a 100% refund. Between 8–14 days prior, the refund is 50%. Cancellations within 7 days of departure are non-refundable. Notify us in writing at reservations@vpttours.com. The included travel insurance covers cancellations for serious illness or emergencies, but requires medical documentation. Always keep your booking confirmation.
